Radar Altimeter for Ultramicro Airplanes
Imrich, Marek ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Radar equipment is an integral part of the aviation sector. It is very important to use a suitable module to guide ultralight aircraft during landing. The bachelor thesis is focused on the use of altitude radar based on the microwave sensor IWR6843ISK manufactured by TEXAS Instruments and its application in practice for ultralight aircraft. Its ability in conjunction with a computer is the altitude guidance of an ultralight aircraft to the runway by generating sound tones to indicate to the pilot the distance above the terrain. The main goal of this work is to design a model for the use of a microwave module in conjunction with a computer and its subsequent testing of the suitability for use in performing a landing maneuver. The aim of this work is to design a system that works with millimeter radar and its evaluation of usability in practice. The proposed module generates point clouds, which are then parsed, then the output data are suitably correlated, further transformed to the exact height of the aircraft above the terrain with subsequent sound interpretation to the pilot.
Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are storaged during the flight into memory. Data can be after the recording through the USB transferred to the PC store. The software on the PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.

System for Identifying Above Ground Level of Flying Objects
Boba, Peter ; Mičulka, Lukáš (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and development of a system for measuring altitude (height above ground level) of flying objects. It describes theoretical background related to altitude measurements in avionics as well as various techniques of altitude measuring. The measurement is conducted by HMD (Height measuring device) - embedded system which uses barometric pressure sensor to measure altitude. The main part of this thesis is dedicated to ground unit - a server running custom set of applications. Using this server and radio link, it is possible to send control commands to HMD, receive data, and propagate data into web application. Furthermore server acts as a data storage and is able to process and analyse data. The thesis also discusses the precision of the measurement and the data output. System was tested and used during several glider aerobatics competitions.
Cyklocomputer with Altimeter
Čech, Tomáš ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
The target of the project is to get acquainted with parameters of magnetic sensors for impulse measurements and of atmospheric pressure sensors. Furthermore there is necessary to choose a proper microcontroller and LCD for measured values displaying. The equipment for bicycling will be projected and constructed afterwards. It will allow to display information on moved distance and also on its superelevation. All data will be stored in the memory. The project also includes microcontroller-PC communication by USB and data transmission from the memory.
Barometric altitude meter for RC plane models
Dujíček, Martin ; Klozar, Lukáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design barometric altimeter for RC plane models. During the flight the value from sensing element is stored in memory. After the flight and connect to computer it is possible to read or erase data from memory. Received data si possible to proces for example to graph.
Flight Elevation Estimation of a Dron Using Various Sensors
Gábrle, Martin ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The paper deals with the aim of measuring the actual height of drone with as much accuracy as possible to maintain the drone at a certain height for longer flight time. It uses 2 barometrs, one on the drone and the other on the ground to indicate the zero altitude.
Radar Altimeter for Ultralight Aircraft
Zahradník, Jiří ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis author designs a radar altimeter. In this thesis the emphasis is placed onto modular architecture and that is why this altimeter is designed as a group of independent modules communicating through BSD sockets. Software implementation is made in C++ and for sound generator is used library PulseAudio. Next topic is multithreading safety implementation of queue and stack which was made by template class to keep simplicity and generality.
Multifunctional altimeter
Lízner, Miroslav ; Neužil,, Tomáš (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
This bacheleor thesishis deals with pressure, humidity and teperature sensors to microcontroller connection possibilities. The main goal of this work is to develop the recording touristic altimeter. The hardware solution based on ATmega64 microcontroller and software implementation is described in practical part of this work.
Aerospace - Futuristic Aircraft Cockpit Design
Bílek, Jan ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This work describes the visualization design of the flight related quantities in a cockpit of a modern light sport aircraft. It focuses on the utilization of the state of the art trends in flight data displays and introduces the innovative implementation of the aircraft's energy state smart clues that reduce pilots' workload. The initial part of the work presents a research into the flight, engine and navigation data presentation on analog instruments, followed by their illustrative depiction in glass cockpits. Within the framework of this thesis, Microsoft Flight Simulator has been used as a source of the flight related data. Final advances in the display design were introduced through the implementation of the synthetic vision system and a visualization of the virtual tunnel in the sky.
